On Saturday, Elon Musk showed off the latest in SpaceX's reusable rocket technology on Twitter, posting images and descriptions from a testing session.
The CEO of Tesla Motors and SpaceX posted an image of Star-Wars style grid fins in an 'X-wing' formation on the Falcon 9 rocket that could help the spacecraft maneuver effectively upon re-entering the Earth's atmosphere after a space mission, according to Daily Mail.
Musk explained that each fin operates autonomously from each other and are retractable so they do not cause drag during ascent and can be deployed when returning to Earth.
